Her education didn`t stop there, as she received a master`s degree from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism in 1996.

She then moved to Florida as she was appointed press secretary for Governor Jeb Bush. The following year, she was promoted to director of communications for the Florida State Technology Office, which only helped her increase her net worth.

As a republican, Nicolle`s career progressed quickly, and having joined the Bush-Cheney presidential campaign in 2004, she proceeded to the White House as Special Assistant to the President, and Director of Media Affairs. In 2005, President George W. Bush appointed her as the White House Communications Director, a position she held until 24th July 2006.
