Lori Loughlin Fears Her Reputation Is Ruined For Life After College Admissions Scandal She

In the aftermath of her college entrance fraud scandal, the actress is apparently ‘embarrassed and hurt!’ At the same time, one new report claims Lori Loughlin also believes that it’s possible for her to ‘beat this.’

As fans may know, Loughlin is currently awaiting her August 27 court date and while she has a lot of ‘regrets’ over her involvement in the college admissions drama, she chooses to think positively.

One insider shared with People magazine that Lori ‘is remorseful, and she has definite regrets. She is embarrassed and hurt, and knows that her reputation’s been ruined for life. But she also thinks the allegations against her are not true. She honestly did not think what she was doing was different than donating money to a library or athletic field. That is the crux of why she pleaded not guilty.’

Indeed, the actress and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, declined a plea deal back in April and now they need to go back to court later this month.

The other defendants involved in the scandal pleaded guilty and accepted their respective plea deals but the source says Lori and her husband ‘weren’t ready’ to do that and that ‘they believe they can beat this.’

Of course, the whole situation and the legal repercussions are starting to be pretty unbearable so the family can’t wait for everything to be over!

‘Lori is ready for this to be over. They all are. At this point, it’d be better to spend a few months in jail — because she has been spending the last several months in her own prison.’

It’s apparently like a ‘dark cloud’ constantly floating over their heads and the process feels really ‘slow’ too!
