On Saturday, March 18, 2023, beloved Elkhorn, Nebraska, resident Jeff Mollner died. He died at 41. Troy Barnes, his longtime friend, announced his death on social media on Sunday, March 19, 2023. Jeff was the first person Troy Barnes met in Waterloo 30 years ago. "RIP Jeffrey. I'm betting they'll have some sweet places to ride where you're going." Troy added.
Jeff T. Mollner was born on September 2, 1982, to loving parents Jim and Mary. Sisters Jenny Edie, Kim Basilico, Barb Sullivan, Amy McCarthy, and Staci Raddish loved him. He loved Loycee O'Daniel and had a beautiful daughter, Aysa Mollner. His daughter will carry his spirit. He maximized his time on Earth. Fatherhood was Jeff's favorite time. He was very happy for Aysa. He loved everyone.
His loyalty and kindness made him a friend to all who sought him out. Many sought his wisdom, love, and kindness. He made friends with everyone and tried new things. He helped many who needed a hand, a friend, and a warm heart.
His smile and personality lit up a room. His mark was everywhere. He encouraged people to be kind, loving, and true to themselves. He loved everyone. He blessed us. He is unique. Everyone he touched will miss him, but his spirit lives on. People will miss him but love him more.
Visitation begins at 4 p.m. on Friday, March 24, 2023, with a Vigil at 6:30 p.m. at West Center Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial: Saturday, March 25, 2023, 10 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Gretna. Resurrection Cemetery. Donations to the Aysa Mollner Educational Fund instead of flowers.

The moment that Jeff became a father was hands down his favorite time in his life. He couldn't hide his joy for Aysa. Everyone considered him a wonderful friend.

A great number of people sought his counsel in order to gain access to the love, wisdom, and kindness that were integral to his being. He was open to new experiences and quickly made friends with everyone he came in contact with. He was there for many people when they needed someone to talk to, a helping hand, or just someone with a warm heart.
His personality was so vibrant and full of life, not to mention the fact that he possessed the most stunning smile and the warmest of hearts. He left his imprint on every place he visited. He encouraged people to live their truth and have a purpose in life, and he told people to stop being judgmental and start being kind and loving instead. He had a reputation for loving everyone, regardless of their circumstances. He was a wonderful boon to have around. Nobody else is quite like him, not even close. His legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone he befriended, even though his passing will leave a deep void in the lives of those he was dearest to.
