Canceling A Show Does Not Equate To Unprofessionalism: Human Health Comes First

Human health is essential. It’s a core part of our daily lives and whether we become ill due to physical drainage, catching a cold, etc, sometimes all that’s needed is a good and long rest because sleep is absolutely essential for good health.

It can be devastating when your favorite artist cancels a show for a specific reason. It may be your first time seeing your idols and seeing them at said show would make your dreams come true. But, when that reason correlates with falling ill – you can’t make a negative opinion on the matter.

What some people forget to realize sometimes is that our idols are also humans. They get sick just like us, they have feelings just like us – they are regular humans! Their singing career is their JOB. So having to cancel a show is probably more devastating for them than it is for the fans.

Just recently, we wrote an article on how international sensations Little Mix cancelled their 2 Belfast shows due to member Jesy Nelson falling ill. While there were a few complaints, we ALL have to understand that the best thing to cure illness is to rest. It sounds like an easy task but it can be grueling.

When you work non-stop, things can happen. Illness can come out of nowhere. That’s why it’s important that we all take care of ourselves.

The girl group recently posted the cancellation announcement on the Little Mix twitter account. See it below!

The morale of the story is our idols are humans too, and canceling a show does NOT mean you are being unprofessional. At the end of the day, the best we can all do is stay positive and send positive vibes. Plus, we’re sure Jesy’s bandies Leigh-anne, Jade and Perrie are taking good care of her!
